1st Shift CNC Programmer and Operator

A manufacturing company that specializes in industrial grinding and material processing services is seeking a skilled 1st Shift CNC Programmer and Operator to join their team. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for both programming and operating state-of-the-art CNC machines to ensure efficient and high-quality production.

Job Summary:
As the 1st Shift CNC Programmer and Operator, you will play a crucial role in the company's manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for programming CNC machines to execute complex machining tasks, as well as operating the machines to produce parts and components to the highest standards. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills will be instrumental in driving the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Program CNC machines to perform intricate machining operations
- Operate CNC machines to manufacture parts and components
- Troubleshoot and maintain CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Analyze production data and make adjustments to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement process improvements
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and quality control measures- Ability to offset and Edit- Most machines are HAAS with some Mazek.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer and Operator, with a strong understanding of CNC programming languages and machine operation
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred

Working Conditions:
This position is based in a manufacturing facility and will require working on your feet for extended periods. The work environment can be noisy and may involve exposure to various industrial materials and equipment. A flexible schedule, including the ability to work during the 1st shift, is required.
1st shift Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm.
