HVAC Technician – Field Service (Miami-Dade / Broward)
Sunny Bliss Plumbing & HVAC is looking for an experienced, energetic HVAC Technician – Field Service to join our team in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.
This is an on-the-road role focused mainly on residential HVAC service and repair. You’ll visit customers’ homes for scheduled appointments and urgent service calls, diagnosing and fixing AC and HVAC issues, performing maintenance, and helping customers keep their systems running efficiently.
We’re looking for a bilingual (English & Spanish) technician with at least 5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience, strong customer service skills, and a professional, motivated attitude. This is a contractor, performance-based opportunity with strong earning potential for a driven technician who wants consistent work and long-term partnership.
Key responsibilities
- Travel daily to residential customers across Miami-Dade and Broward for scheduled HVAC service and emergency calls
- Diagnose and repair common residential HVAC issues (no-cool, low airflow, short cycling, thermostat problems, etc.)
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems (filter changes, coil cleaning, refrigerant checks, drain line cleaning, etc.)
- Communicate clearly with customers (in English and Spanish) about issues found, recommended repairs, options, and pricing
- Use our scheduling/dispatch system to confirm appointments, update job status, and close out work orders
- Prepare simple job reports, including parts used, work performed, time on site, and follow-up recommendations
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean, safe, and organized condition
- Follow company procedures, safety standards, and local codes at all times
- Represent Sunny Bliss Plumbing & HVAC with a positive, professional attitude on every visit
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience, primarily in residential service and repair
- Strong diagnostic skills for common AC/HVAC issues (no-cool, poor cooling, leaks, electrical/controls, airflow)
- Experience performing regular maintenance: inspections, cleaning, filter changes, drain line cleaning, etc.
- Bilingual: fluent in English and Spanish (spoken, customer-facing)
- Comfortable working with a daily schedule and handling multiple appointments per day
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong work ethic: punctual, reliable, and motivated by performance-based earnings
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills with homeowners
- Ability to work independently in the field while staying coordinated with the office/dispatcher
