A Web Designer is a creative professional who designs engaging, user-friendly, and visually appealing websites and web interfaces. The role combines design principles, UX/UI best practices, and technical skills to deliver digital experiences that align with brand identity and business goals.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement website layouts, landing pages, and digital assets consistent with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with developers, marketers, and product teams to translate requirements into user-centered designs.
- Optimize design for usability, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices and platforms.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to communicate ideas and iterate quickly.
- Ensure visual consistency and maintain a strong focus on user experience and conversion goals.
- Stay updated with design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design quality.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for communicating with developers.
- Understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Good grasp of UX/UI principles and ability to apply them in practice.
- Attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Optional: familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow) and motion design/animation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field is a plus.
