Junior Dispatcher (USA Trucking)

Dispatch Coordination: Assist in scheduling and routing shipments to ensure efficient and timely deliveries. Driver Interaction: Maintain regular communication with drivers, providing instructions, updates, and support throughout their routes. Broker Communication: Engage with brokers to provide shipment updates, address inquiries, and resolve any issues related to transportation. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve transportation issues or delays by coordinating with drivers, brokers, and internal teams to find effective solutions. Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely completion of all relevant dispatch and transportation documentation. Reporting: Monitor dispatch operations and prepare reports on performance, issues, and overall efficiency. Customer Support: Provide excellent service to clients and stakeholders, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

Fluency: Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. Experience: Experience with cold calling, sales, or a related field is preferred. Advantageous to have experience in trucking or after-hours driver support. Technical Requirements: Internet Connection: Reliable, high-speed internet connection. Headset: High-quality headset with clear audio (no distortion). Computer Specifications: Adequate computer with good RAM; slow or outdated equipment will not be suitable. Technical requirements will be assessed during the interview process. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with drivers, brokers, and internal teams. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
