K12 Staffing is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to support children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, in school and related care settings. You’ll deliver ABA-based support under BCBA supervision, help children build essential life and learning skills, and contribute to consistent, respectful care across daily routines.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using Applied Behavior Analysis principles.
  • Collect and record accurate behavioral data during sessions.
  • Support children with Activities of Daily Living, including dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Work with clients in school, home-based, or related service environments.
  • Communicate professionally with families, caregivers, educational staff, and supervisors.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
  • Follow ethical standards for behavior support and client care.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be a registered RBT / Registered Behavior Technician.
  • Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Ability to implement ABA therapy protocols under BCBA supervision.
  • Comfortable collecting behavioral data and documenting progress notes.
  • Familiarity with school-based, behavioral health, or special education environments.
  • Strong communication, reliability, patience, and professionalism.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and ethical care.
