We are looking for a remote Quality Assurance Expert to build and continuously improve our quality standards across projects and internal processes. You will design and execute tests, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions while collaborating closely with operations, sales, and installation teams. This role is ideal for someone with strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and a passion for turning feedback into concrete process improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute test plans and checklists for projects, documentation, and internal processes.
- Analyze defects, incidents, and customer feedback to identify root causes and propose corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor key quality metrics (errors, rework, customer complaints, SLA breaches) and report on trends and risks.
- Work closely with operations and installation teams to standardize procedures and ensure they are followed in day-to-day work.
- Facilitate feedback loops between sales, project managers, installers, and management to continuously improve service quality.
- Document and maintain up-to-date SOPs, checklists, and quality guidelines for all critical workflows.
- Conduct regular process audits, spot checks, and after-action reviews to capture lessons learned.
- Train and support team members on quality standards, tools, and best practices.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and constructively, ensuring buy-in from stakeholders.
- Contribute ideas for new tools, templates, and approaches to make quality control more efficient and transparent.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, or Operations Excellence role.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to analyzing issues.
- Proven experience designing or improving processes, workflows, or SOPs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders (operations, sales, installers, management).
- Solid experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative feedback.
- Comfortable giving and receiving feedback and turning it into actionable improvements.
- High attention to detail and ownership mindset; able to follow through until issues are resolved.
- Experience in service, construction, manufacturing, or field operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic QA / project management tools (task trackers, spreadsheets, documentation tools).
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
